Wanda's Cheese Cake
Cake: 1 (8 ounces) Cream Cheese 1 cup butter 2 cups sugar 2 cups cake flour 6 eggs Syrup: 1 cup water 3/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons liquor 43 Cream Cheese Frosting: 2 (8 ounces) cream cheese 1/2 cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 to 3/4 box of powdered sugar
Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. In a big mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter. Add the sugar, three eggs and mix well. Add half of the flour, the other three eggs and mix well again. Add the rest of the flour and mix well. Pour cake mixture into the greased pan and bake for 45 minutes or until your insert a toothpick and come out clean in a 350 °F oven.

While the cake is in the oven, make the syrup. Put the water and the sugar in a small pan in medium heat. Let it boil moving occasionally. After it boils, remove the pan from the heat and add the butter and liquor 43. Mix well. When the cake is ready, let it cool down for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan and pour the syrup to it.

In a small mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract. Add sugar and mix well. If is to liquid, put it in the refrigerator for a while. Frost cake when is completely cool down.
Yield: 1 Cake
